Meet the breeder

I'm Pauline B., the breeder behind ChucklePuff Farms located in Forest Lake, MN. We have a small hobby farm where our family raises dairy goats, pedigree cats, and purebred dogs in Columbus, Minnesota. We have four children who are very much involved in our animal care, so you can expect your new family member to come well-loved and socialized. At our farm, we offer a little bit of everything, but all of our breeding has the same goal. We are breeding for health and temperament over all else. Our animals are all a part of our family, even after they come home to you. Adopting an animal from us means that you have access to a lifetime of mentoring and boarding if you’re local!

Q. & A. with Pauline

  • Why did you start breeding?

After getting a degree in genetics, I have always been interested in breeding high quality animals be it farm animals or pets. Our first dog Charlie came with many temperament issues that really taught me a lot about training and the natural predispositions of some breeds. While working through some of his long term issues, I became a dog trainer which connected me to the dog breeder world!
  • What makes your program special?

Socialization and health!! We do all recommended health testing on our breeding animals. In addition, we will be raising your puppy in a family of six around livestock, cats, small mammals, you name it. Our 4 young children will be loving on your puppy and touching every toe and kissing them all day long! Your puppy will be brought to trick or treat, baseball games, and kid birthday parties!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Great Pyrenees puppies are white and badger. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Pauline

Pauline has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Pauline partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great care in matching each of our puppies with the family and lifestyle where they can truly thrive. At 7 to 8 weeks of age, we evaluate each puppy’s temperament and structure, helping us determine whether they are best suited for life as a livestock guardian, a show prospect, a devoted family companion, or perhaps all three! Your preferences are an important part of the process, too. We consider your puppy choices along with our evaluations, with final selections made according to the order in which deposits are received. Our goal is always the same: the right puppy with the right family.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit that secures a spot in a litter. The remaining $1,300 - $2,000 is due before pickup, plus applicable taxes and fees.

“This price includes an AKC registered puppy with all age-recommended vaccines and deworming. Puppies are also microchipped. We ask for a deposit to reserve a spot in our litters. Puppies will be evaluated between 7-8 weeks and matched with prospective families. Families are able to choose based on the order of deposits.”
