I'm Angie C., the breeder behind Clements Chihuahua located in Hackleburg, AL. We are an in-home program where our dogs are our companions first and foremost. We are dedicated to providing each of our puppies with loving and caring forever homes. Our goal is to produce puppies that make wonderful companions, so we breed with a focus on health and temperament above all. We want all of our pups to live long and happy lives with their forever families!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We wanted to put our passion for Chihuahuas to good use. Breeding healthy, happy puppies is our way to give back to the breed and the families who love them. We want nothing more than to see each of our dogs and puppies shine! We hope to help families find their puppies from responsible and ethical sources to help build a better and safer world for our dogs. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and we are so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with others!

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program stands out amongst others because of the personal attention we give to every detail of the journey. Our dogs and puppies are an integral part of our family and daily life. We cherish each one, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, chocolate, fawn, blue, cream and white, chocolate and white, and blue and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Spinocerebellar Ataxia (SCA), Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 2 (NCL2), Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
