I'm LaKisha W., the breeder behind CMW Interstellar Kennel located in Delaplane, VA. Every puppy we raise is adored as part of our family from birth. Our puppies will complete your home, your family, and your heart! We are a small, in-home breeding program where we prioritize giving each dog and puppy the best care that we can. We cherish all of our animals and enjoy sharing the love of this breed with other individuals and families!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Breeding is the selection of certain qualifying dogs to create a well rounded, balanced, and functioning dog. My dogs function as my pets but also are working dogs with things like ratting, alarming and therapy dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    My breeding program produces fully health cleared puppies. All parents are fully DNA tested and health panels are clear of all common chihuahua health issues. Each breeding is done to create well tempered and balanced offspring. Along with this I socialize, expose and train all puppies and send them home with everything they need to start their new lives with.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies have smooth coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate and chocolate and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from LaKisha

LaKisha has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes NKC, UKC or AKC registration, vaccinations for up to ten weeks, deworming, and puppy socialization. All of our puppies are priced according to their temperament, training abilities and overall quality. They are all evaluated at birth and are determined then.”

LaKisha may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
