Linda K.

Breeder of Italian Greyhounds

Meet the breeder

I'm Linda K., the breeder behind Coccolare Italian Greyhounds located in West Richland, WA. I am a preservation breeder of Italian Greyhounds dedicated to protecting the breed's health, structure, temperament, and historical purpose. My breeding program is built on careful pedigree research, health testing, and selective pairings that prioritize sound minds and bodies over trends and volume. Puppies are raised in my home with early socialization, exposure to everyday life, and a strong foundation for companionship and performance. I am committed to ethical breeding, lifelong responsibility for every dog I produce, and ongoing education through breed clubs and performance sports to ensure Italian Greyhounds thrive for generations to come.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Patellar Luxation

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
