I'm Julie G., the breeder behind Color Me Crazy Chihuahuas located in Dime Box, TX. We breed high-quality pups. We love what we do and are committed to producing well-bred, healthy puppies for loving homes. Our dogs and puppies are raised in our home and are loved as family. We spend countless hours with each of our litters, socializing and caring for our puppies to prepare them for their forever homes. We truly love our puppies and know you will, too! Our chihuahuas are Russian and American bloodlines that means they have the apple head short, thick nose, thick legs, thick body no yappers they love people they love other dogs they get along with everybody and anything. All dogs are DNA tested and clear!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    When my children grew up, and my grandkids decided they had their own lives to live. They don’t want to hang with grandma. I decided to get in with my dog breeding and I love it. I enjoy my dogs. They give me happiness. I enjoy the puppies.

  • What makes your program special?

    I take care of my puppies every day they are potty trained before they go home. They’re very well loved and played with they are socialized with other dogs and humans. I give a 1yr health guarantee against defects, I have a contract for my customers, I send them home with washable pee pads, wet and dry food, toys and blanket along with AKC registration paperwork.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include long and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate, chocolate brindled fawn, white, chocolate and tan, chocolate and white, cream and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $3,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Ginger is a Toy Aussie we got from Julie Feb 2024. Our girl turned 1 in Dec 2023. She is amazing to work with, in her puppy class she did very well. She picked up commands immediately. I’m looking forward to advance classes with her . She’s typical Aussie , she is hyper focused waiting for instructions. Though she’s not a work dog , she instinctively know how to herd She’s extremely loyal and very protective, especially me bc I have physical limitations. She’s driven by fetch. When she does well with commands she gets to play fetch. She has stamina that has not limits . She’s also very cuddly when napping and loves to sleep with us . She Weighs 17 lbs but a very picky eater She gets a scrambled egg and brown rice with peas and carrots 2 X daily And of course various gourmet treats through out the day We love our little Toy Aussie very much , I hope one day we can get her a friend But she’s a handful and demanding of her playtime . Julie was a great first time breeder experience, and I got to see all her animals onsite. She is very forthcoming in all her litters . I highly recommend this breeder

    We brought Barney and Bailey into our home last February. They are brother and sister and brought an incredible amount of joy to us.     Finding Julie and Mollie ( my baby) was a God send! I had been searching for a while and was led to Julie and this particular puppy. Julie was fantastic about keeping me informed from week 2.
