I'm Cynthia C., the breeder behind Conlin's Chihuahuas located in Visalia, CA. When I'm looking for my next show dog, I breed with my dogs' health and wellness in mind. I aim to produce dogs that are structurally sound, mentally well, physically healthy, with intelligence and beauty. I raise all of my dogs with love in my home. I have high expectations for my puppies and make sure to place each one with an enriching and loving family that will match their temperament and personality!

Why did you start breeding?
Chihuahuas have been my passion my whole life. I have loved the breed since I was a child and have been showing them for about 30 years. It is important to me that I not only continue my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come! It is an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that I've found in raising these wonderful dogs.What makes your program special?
I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families. Many of my dogs have become exceptional show prospects and champions, but all of them have become excellent family dogs and lifelong friends. I strive for quality and excellence with everything that I do. Holding myself to high standards is paramount to the well-being of my dogs and to the integrity of my program.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

"I only take a deposit once I have a puppy available for you. Deposits are transferable to a new litter if for some reason the puppy previously picked did not work out."

Although Chu is retired, he did sire one final litter that were born March 18th. He will now continue to relax as he previously started to do. Chu was only added back to the site because we allowed a final breeding in the hopes of producing a nice male. We finally have our first male from him. We are hoping to show him soon.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
