Meet the breeder

I'm Amber C., the breeder behind Countryman Whoodles located in Kalispell, MT. Lovingly, carefully, and thoughtfully breeding Whoodles and Poodles in beautiful Montana! There's a Whoodle on a mini ranch in Big Sky Country near Glacier National Park. Joy-filled, gorgeous, intelligent, and sparky! These non-shedding puppies are our center of focus. Looking forward to sharing our love with your family!

Q. & A. with Amber

  • Why did you start breeding?

When a close friend was retiring from breeding, she offered a puppy and a mentorship opportunity. Owning a cleaning company, I knew for a FACT that WAY too many doodles left their stamp all over the place - the couch, clothing, even IN the refrigerator. Whoodles - NO-FUR mission accomplished!
  • What makes your program special?

We breed only well-tested dogs with great conformation and dispositions. We then raise the pups in our home with curricula! ENS (Early Neurological Stimulation), ESI (Early Scent Introduction), and BAB/Puppy Culture are used for intentional and purposeful handling that aligns with their sensitive developmental benchmarks. Our dogs sleep in our beds, eat the best foods, keep busy around the ranch, and enjoy beautiful Montana alongside our family of 4.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Amber was wonderful to work with from start to finish—from the application process all the way through bringing Dublin home. She was always responsive to my questions and kept me updated throughout Tikka’s pregnancy. She texted me as soon as Dublin was born, which meant a lot. Amber also shared regular photos and videos of the puppies, which made the experience even more special. Now that we’ve had Dublin for three months, we’ve seen how quickly he learns. It’s clear that Amber puts a lot of care into early socialization—because of the handling and interaction the puppies receive from family and friends, Dublin has been completely comfortable with us touching his paws, belly, and more right from the start. I wouldn't hesitate recommending Amber as an expert whoodle breeder.

Amber is extremely knowledgeable about the breed. We talked to her several times before actually deciding to get a Whoodle. The transition from the litter to our home was greatly aided by Amber‘s support.

We had a wonderful experience with Countryman Whoodles. Our dog is so sweet, soft and cuddly. My kids love to play with her. Amber was great with communication. She was not only responsive but reached out with any changes or questions she had for us regarding next steps. We were even able to plan a surprise for the kids with Amber by staying at her guesthouse on our way back from Glacier. They had no idea they were getting a puppy. Overall, this was a wonderful experience. We love our sweet girl.
