I'm Emily B., the breeder behind County Line Pointers located in Norris City, IL. Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since! We focus on breeding athletic dogs with fantastic temperaments that will make stellar family pets and hunting companions. We have several references that we will gladly provide upon request!
Q. & A. with Emily
Why did you start breeding?
We had been researching and studying for a long time! Once we felt comfortable and educated, we went for it! We’ve learned so much along the way and absolutely love it.
What makes your program special?
I feel we sell to buyers how we would want to be sold to. We get to know them and let them know us. We keep them updated along the way and are updated, honest, and upfront. We have kept in contact with so many families over the years. It’s so neat to know our kennel name is known far and wide!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our German Shorthaired Pointer puppies include liver roan, liver, liver and white, and black roan. Wirehaired Pointing Griffon puppies include chestnut and gray and brown and gray. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
