Meet the breeder

I'm Cynthia M., the breeder behind C&P DALMATIANS located in Southington, OH. Our dogs are our beloved companions. We care deeply about this breed and are proud to be responsible Dalmatian breeders. We raise our litters in our home to help set the foundation for happy and confident puppies to transition well into their forever homes. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to make an impact on each individual puppy!

Q. & A. with Cynthia

  • Why did you start breeding?

I bought my first dalmatian in 2018. I simply feel in love. Those dogs cant do enough to please you. Really didn't know about breeding due to the fact I had bred Borzois and was very disappointed with the outcome. Nobody knew what they were. But we tried one litter and from then on I knew I had to continue because DALMATIANS are very very well known but never seen in our area..I WANT to change that.
  • What makes your program special?

We happen to have luck on our side and bred with a stud out of state. The breeder was AMAZING. She sorta took us under her wing and taught us several things. But at C&P DALMATIANS we give our hearts and soul to these puppies. They are literally our children till they are lucky enough to go to their forever homes. We stand behind our pups and make ourselves available at any time. However we do require a contract
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Excellent level

C&P DALMATIANS reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Dalmatians.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
