Meet the breeder

I'm Amy D., the breeder behind Crescendo Lagotto Romagnolos located in Tempe, AZ. Pups for Pet, Performance & Show We prefer homes who will "do more" with their dogs & offer rebates of up to $1000 back for those who do put titles on their dogs. We do prefer homes in AZ, as we like to have get-togethers and help w/grooming or training when needed. We sometimes make exceptions.

Q. & A. with Amy

  • Why did you start breeding?

At just 14 (I’m now in my 40s), I had a wonderful mentor in the JRT world who taught me about type and preserving and protecting the breed. This knowledge has taken me far. I’ve never had more than 4 dogs at a time and they stay with me for life. So, very limited breeding ... it only makes sense to do it right. All health testing and titles at both ends of their names are step one.
  • What makes your program special?

We were fortunate to have started out with quality in type, temperament, and health. Our pups are raised with kids, other pets, and with Puppy Culture. With very limited breedings, we like to see our Puppies doing more than just staying home. So, we reward her new owners with rebates up to $1000 back for putting titles on either end of their puppy’s name.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include brown roan and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We are really pleased with our experience in working with Crescendo. We were provided with all the AKC and health testing information which gave us the reassurance we’d hoped for that these pups are carefully bred. We were able to FaceTime and ensure we got the right puppy matched to us based on personality and our preferences since we were not located in AZ. We were given a ton of helpful information when we got our pup and continue to stay in touch with Amy which I appreciate. Our puppy adjusted to her new home very quickly. I highly recommend Crescendo for a healthy and happy Lagotto pup!
