Meet the breeder

I'm Trapper & Patricia W., the breeder behind Dachshund Family Love Breeders located in Chino Valley, AZ. Purebred AKC linage and most with Champion lines. We provide our puppies with love, socialization, training, and good health. Our puppies live in our home, and are constantly loved on by our family, and kids. Our dogs come with their vaccinations and dewormer according to schedule. All our puppies are pet only, no breeding rights, no papers.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My mother, aunt, and sisters, all have Dachshunds and a special love for Dachshunds. Dachshunds have been our loved doggies for the past 30 + years. We started having pups time to time when my mothers AKC Dam had a mating with our breeder sister AKC Sire, and they shared the pups with family members to keep the pups in the family because we were all in love with them all.

  • What makes your program special?

    All my dogs are purebred AKC. Some of my dogs have Champion lines. All my dogs have personal attention at all times, & live inside our home as our pets. They are our fur kids, our constant, and our loves. The puppies are with our family at all times in the home, and play with our children as well. The pups are never alone so when you get your puppy, this puppy has been very loved, cared for, & socialized from the day it was born. Website/social for reviews

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Chihuahua puppies have smooth coats. Dachshund puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Chihuahua puppies include cream, white, chocolate and white, fawn and white, and blue and white. Dachshund puppies include piebald, cream, red, brindle, gray (blue) and tan, blue and tan, chocolate and cream, black and tan, blue and cream, black and cream, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Trapper & Patricia

Trapper & Patricia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Trapper & Patricia partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“ Pet only, no breeding 🛑 Please note 🛑 If you found me through the good dog app there will be an additional 6.5% added to the total cost to cover the new fees good dog is charging me. If you found me through one of my social media platforms, my web/site, or you were referred by a friend then please let me know and I’ll send you a special link where you can still pay through good dog but it will not include this fee.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $4,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Adorable new fur baby. Puppy gift bag of litter mate/momma blanket, toy, and more. First vaccines, dewormer, training, according to age and good health. The deposit applies towards total balance of the puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Trapper & Patricia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
