Beverly was very helpful throughout the process of signing up for a puppy to picking up my puppy, Ursula. She sent many pictures and answered all my questions promptly. I would highly recommend buying a puppy from Dakota Dreamin Schipperkes. I also liked that Ursula was free to roam between a fenced yard and Beverly's home which she shared with her mom, dad, brother and a couple other schipperkes. Ursula was the shy one and her brother outgoing so it took some time and effort to show Ursula that the world was not a scary place but indeed fun! She has adapted very well and has 3 feline friends at home and switches back and forth between our city home and cabin on the lake in northern Minnesota. She has been a joyful addition to our family.

I already had two schipperkes, 10 and 8 at the time, when I decided to get another. I wanted them to help me raise another while they were still frisky. I’m smitten with this breed, they’re so fun and smart! They are my first small dogs after many years of long-lived large dogs, a Belgian Sheepdog, a Belgian Malinois, and a Husky mix. I can’t carry 60 lb dogs very far anymore. The Good Dog app gave me more confidence that I’d found a reliable and responsible breeder while payment was easy and secure. Beverly was super responsive and helpful throughout the process. One of my friends decided to get a puppy from the same litter so I shuttled two puppies on a flight to Phoenix. She was willing to go out of her way to drive the puppies an hour to the airport that was convenient for me. She arrived on time with puppies, collars, puppy food, toys and blankets. Nothing was rushed. All her queries of me ahead of time indicated that she wanted to ensure I was properly prepared for a successful exchange and trip home. Flying two puppies was easy because they are so small at 8 weeks old, both easily fit in one under seat carrier. Southwest only charges a fee per carrier, not per animal. The pups kept each other company and were so quiet during the flight I never heard from them. I really liked Beverly’s Facebook page where she posted fun pictures and videos of the puppies growing and learning. It’s so clear that she loves her dogs, their puppies and prepares them for success. When my vet examined both puppies, she was very complimentary towards the breeder about their health and condition. Rumi is a year old now and everyone is happy. I highly recommend Fischer Kennels.

Beverly was very responsive and helpful, and Oliver is truly a great pup! The vet complimented Beverly when we took him in for his shots, saying that she had done a wonderful job, that he was in excellent health and great condition. He’s adjusted beautifully and I couldn’t be happier!

Beverly was wonderful in helping me with the process of adopting my new baby Leo bear. She was easy to communicate with and very helpful with assisting me with travel arrangements to pick him up at the airport. She was also kind enough to pack him a to go bag with his favorite blanket & toy and puppy treats from her home to help him with his transition into our family. I am very thankful for everything! Leo is healthy & happy and we love him!

Beverly was very easy to get ahold of throughout the whole process, and was very kind about answering first time puppy owner questions. The dogs seem very well taken care of and have lots of health testing done on them to make sure you’re getting a quality dog. I’m glad I got to work with Beverly through Good Dog I couldn’t be happier with my puppy Squid!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
