Meet the breeder

I'm Annie S., the breeder behind Dalmatian Creation LLC located in Louisa, VA. WELCOME, Were so happy you’re here and ready to learn more about your next spotted friend! We take pride in raising well socialized puppies, as they grow up around young children and other household pets. We start kennel and potty training to make the transition easy for both of you!

Q. & A. with Annie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always been so fascinated with the Dalmatian breed. Like most, the spotted obsession came from the Disney movie. After getting my first Dalmatian, I realized how hard it was to find a well bred one. I ended up traveling on 2 planes, 24 hours worth of flights to bring home in our opinion, the perfect Dalmatian, Spade.
  • What makes your program special?

All of our dogs live inside our home and are treated like family members first, they even have their own bedroom. The puppies are raised inside around our children and our other household pets to ensure they're well socialized and ready for family life. All of our dogs are embark tested and will obtain they’re CHIC number.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white and lemon, white and liver brown, and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Excellent level

Dalmatian Creation LLC reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Dalmatians.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Full Embark Panel

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
