Meet the breeder

I'm Casey F., the breeder behind Dauntless Chihuahuas located in Glen Burnie, MD. Chihuahuas are far more than the public makes them out to be. Smart, loyal, eager and tenacious little dogs. We strive to connect to the roots of the breed, making them suitable for all kinds of jobs like service dog work, weight pull, agility, barn hunt or just couch surfing!

Q. & A. with Casey

  • Why did you start breeding?

My program started with Kairi, as a trainer I always knew I wanted a small dog, as you often train the dogs you own and I wanted to make sure I could cater to both large and small dog owners. I found Kairi by chance and the love I already had for the breed grew tenfold and it is because of her that I started breeding.
  • What makes your program special?

We strongly believe that little dogs can do just as much as big dogs. We strive for our pups to be active problem solvers and not just "purse dogs" or "typical chihuahuas" Our goal is a sturdy outgoing dog that likes people and being active just as much as they enjoy hanging out on the couch with their favourite people.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Sporty Mix puppies are small size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Chihuahua puppies include long and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Chihuahua puppies include black, chocolate, fawn, red, black sabled fawn, blue, chocolate blue, and fawn brindled black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
