Meet the breeder

I'm Rene R., the breeder behind De Oro Vizslas located in Silverdale, WA. We are a hobby breeder, and our priorities are temperament, health, and conformation. Our Vizslas are family, and their place is in our home and around the family. They come from long lines of well-bred Vizslas. We are dedicated to providing each of our puppies with loving and caring forever homes.

Q. & A. with Rene

  • Why did you start breeding?

For much of my life, I was terrified of dogs. I wanted to change that, so I researched many breeds and discovered the Vizsla. These dogs are perfect for my family, and we love them. We researched everything we could about responsible breeding, and we eventually decided to become responsible breeders ourselves and help other families enjoy the love of a healthy, well-bred Vizsla.
  • What makes your program special?

We are very selective about our breeding dogs. All of our dogs are fully healthy and genetically tested. The health and temperament of our puppies is our number one priority. We are very conscious about who purchases our puppies, always ensuring that they are given the best life possible. We are passionate about educating our buyers on this breed so that each family and their puppy can have the best experience possible.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
