About Beau
Beau was brought to our home as a second companion dog for us and a mate for Sasha! I usually don't have male dogs, but Beau is one-of-a-kind and is simply the most affectionate dog we have ever had!! He has certainly changed my mind about male dogs!! BTW, he has received his AKC Canine Good Citizen award!!

Sasha is our lovable female PWD. She is everything a person could want in a family companion! She is why we LOVE PWDs!! We also believe is training from a young pup, and Sasha has received all her training up to and including AKC Canine Good Citizen!!

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Microphthalmia Syndrome (PES), Early Onset Progressive Retinal Atrophy (EOPRA), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Juvenile Dilated Cardiomyopathy, GM1 Gangliosidosis, Portuguese Water Dog Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
