I'm Erin C., the breeder behind Desert Sky Italian Greyhounds located in Tempe, AZ. My dogs are bred for temperament, socialization, conformation to show, and for pet households. The most important consideration at breeding is compatibility with the sire (I only own females), ensuring health is top-notch and socializing them from day 1.

Why did you start breeding?
Through friendships in AZ, I decided to show in conformation and then breed through the help of many wonderful IG breeders/mentors and Breeders of Merit with AKC, from which my lines come.What makes your program special?
My breeding program is small, but I am very selective with whom I breed my bitches. I want to maintain a solid "typey" IG, taking into consideration DNA, temperament, and socialization. My dogs are all born and raised in my home, not in kennels, where they receive 24 hour care and attention. We are also very selective about the people who will received one of our dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include blue fawn and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

“Price includes AKC registration on a case-by-case basis, deworming, vaccinations, and well puppy visits. Deposit reserves a specific puppy. Deposits are non-refundable and go toward the final price of the puppy.”
