I'm Nanci B., the breeder behind D’or Cote located in Portland, OR. We primarily breed for health and temperament and finish our dogs in conformation to ensure they meet breed standards. Applicants are screened for compatibility with the breed, and to educate as to the time commitment and resources required for a new puppy.

Through the influence of several key breeders in the local Schipperke Club of Southern CA.
What makes your program special?
I am focused on breeding for health and temperament as well as conformation breed standards and partner with breeders who have similar programs in place. We ensure a pet puppy is placed in an appropriate home through an extensive interview process and contract.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
Getting a puppy from Nanci
Nanci has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 refundable deposit and between $900 - $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Nanci may provide a written contract or
health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps
protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you
both have a clear understanding of the terms of your
puppy purchase. If Nanci offers a contract

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
PennGen, Mucopolysaccharidosis Type IIIB (MPS IIIB), DNA Profile
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
