Meet the breeder

I'm Madeleine W., the breeder behind Dots Sheepadoodles located in Claremont, CA. Dot's Sheepadoodles is a small, family-run program in Claremont, CA, raising health-tested Sheepadoodles in multiple sizes. With 5+ years of experience and just 1–2 litters a year, every puppy is home-raised, thoughtfully socialized, and matched carefully with the right family.

Q. & A. with Madeleine

  • Why did you start breeding?

We welcomed our first litter more than five years ago, after several years of mentorship, research, and learning from established breeders we deeply respect. We've stayed intentionally small ever since — just one to two carefully planned litters a year. Quality over quantity has been the standard from day one, and it always will be.
  • What makes your program special?

We're a family based in Claremont, California, who fell head-over-heels for Sheepadoodles years ago. Our home is a busy one — full of kids, activity, and dogs who are very much part of the chaos. That family-first environment is exactly what shapes our puppies during their most formative weeks. Outside of breeding, we love spending time outdoors, exploring Southern California with our dogs.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include merle, white, blue merle and white, blue merle, blue gray, blue and white, black and white, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Madeleine

Madeleine has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Madeleine partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“We take great care in matching each puppy with the right family. Once buyers are screened and approved, we work through our waitlist in order — getting to know each family's lifestyle, experience, and what they're looking for in a puppy. Around 6–7 weeks, we evaluate each puppy's temperament, energy level, and personality. From there, we make thoughtful matches based on what we've learned about both the puppies and the families waiting for them. Our goal is always a lifetime fit — not just a quick placement.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $2,300 - $7,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Pricing reflects size, coat, color, markings, and overall conformation. Every puppy — regardless of price — receives the same health testing, socialization, and lifetime breeder support. A $200 non-refundable deposit secures your spot on our general waitlist and is applied toward your puppy's final price. Size, color, and markings are selected once your litter is born.”

Madeleine may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
