Q. & A. with Carolyn
Why did you start breeding?
I was born into a family of breeders and have worked for & managed other breeding programs in order to learn different philosophies of breeding. Continuing education is a must for all breeders. You can never know everything.
Breeding Kromfohrlanders is a preservation effort. They are a very rare breed. However, breeding must be for quality, not quantity.
What makes your program special?
I work with Kromfohrlander breeders all over the world to bring new bloodlines to America. I am dedicated to breeding only the best dogs therefore producing puppies that have the best chance of success.
I also ensure that all of my puppies find good homes. I also make sure that my puppies never end up in shelters or are unwanted. My home is open to these puppies for their whole life.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
