Breeder-Reported Testing

Excellent level

Dream Dalmatians reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Dalmatians.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Congenital Deafness (BAER, registered with OFA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

Wow, what can I say? My entire experience with Gabriela was truly amazing from start to finish. The process was smooth, quick, and incredibly professional. She was kind, transparent, and even allowed me to FaceTime to see the puppies before deciding. I knew it was love at first sight. When we drove from Los Angeles to meet our puppy in person, everything went perfectly—the dog was healthy, well cared for, and exactly as described. It was clear that Gabriela genuinely loves and takes great pride in raising her dogs with care and attention. My Dalmatian has been an absolute blessing—his temperament is incredible, he’s obedient, affectionate, and brings joy to our home every single day. It’s rare to find such a well-balanced, loving pup, and I truly believe it’s because of the wonderful start he had with Gabriela. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better dog. I would absolutely recommend Gabriela to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible breeder, and I look forward to getting another puppy from her in the future.

Gabriela was quick to respond to our inquiry and answered all of our questions about dalmatians with great knowledge and care. Before moving forward, we checked reviews for both Good Dog and Gabriela, and were reassured by the many wonderful experiences others had shared. This gave us confidence that our transaction was secure. Before we picked up our puppy, Gabriela recommended that I register with the AKC. When we arrived to bring our puppy home, she personally assisted us with registering Summit's name with AKC , which also activated his microchip. Gabriela was adamant that the chip be activated before the puppy left her care—a true testament to how much she cares about her pups. Also, when it came time to meet, Gabriela arranged a designated location for the exchange and walked us through the puppy’s health record, noting when the next vaccinations would be due. She also shared some helpful house-training tips, which we’ve been putting to use—our puppy is already making great progress! Before pickup, Gabriela had bathed and groomed our puppy, told us about ear-cleaning, and even provided a thoughtful care package filled with treats, puppy food, toys, and a neatly organized folder containing his veterinary check-up, health record, low uric acid test, and hearing test. She described our Summit as curious, energetic, and perfectly suited for outdoor adventures like hiking and camping. She also mentioned Summit was one of the smartest in the litter and a quick learner—which we can already see is true!

Gabriela is amazing! She was encouraging and informative, quickly responding to all of our questions! Which were many! She continues to help and direct us in raising Gracie. She supplied us with all the information about our puppy and sent us home with toys, food and a “special” mommy blanket. She has been more than a breeder, she is our friend!

Very pleased with the opportunity to work with Ms. Gabriella. The entire time she had been very responsive and informative. Her and her husband were kind enough to offer the option to have our new puppy Appa brought to us from California to Nevada with my situation that was greatly appreciated. I could tell that she really cares for the pups until the day they go to their families because Appa was freshly bathed and already had an established sense of where to go to the bathroom which has made this past month a breeze with training. Thank you kindly for that! For anyone who reads this looking for a dependable and reliable dalmatian breeder, you can stop now. Thank you kindly again Ms. Gabriella.

Gabriela was a Dream to work with! She let us interact with all the puppies for a long time so we could pick out the perfect puppy for our family. She answered any and all questions we had and was so sweet with our 2 year old daughter. She was even so kind to babysit our puppy because we had to go out of town for a family memorial, just a week after we added our puppy to the family. If we decide to get another dalmation in the future, we will definitely be working with her again.
