Meet the breeder

I'm Elizabeth V., the breeder behind Dreamy Divine Chihuahuas located in Doyle, CA. We are dedicated to quality not quantity. We are not a kennel. All of our dogs are members of our family. We are located out in the country of Northern California, where our dogs live a life of high quality luxury.

Q. & A. with Elizabeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

I grew up watching my mom raise and breed Chihuahuas, and from a young age I was by her side helping care for the puppies. Some of my best memories are of bottle feeding, socializing, and watching the little ones grow into confident, loving companions. Being part of that process sparked a deep love and respect for the breed that’s stayed with me ever since. Over the years, that passion only grew stronger. After spending decades surrounded by Chihuahuas, I decided to carry on what my mom started — raising healthy, well-loved puppies in a family environment. For me, breeding isn’t just about producing puppies; it’s about continuing a tradition of love, care, and dedication to this incredible breed. 🐾❤️
  • What makes your program special?

We’re a small, family-based program — not a kennel. Our dogs live in our home, sleep in our beds, and are loved as family. Every puppy is raised with health, quality, and lots of heart 🐾❤️
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include merle, chocolate, cream, fawn, fawn and white, chocolate and white, gold and white, cream and white, chocolate and tan, black and tan, red and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

“💕 Puppy Matching Policy 💕 We care deeply about where our babies go and truly believe every puppy deserves the perfect forever home. Because of that, we reserve the right to match puppies based on personality, household fit, and lifestyle instead of strictly “first pick” in some situations. Our goal is to make sure each puppy is placed where they will thrive and be loved for life 🥹🐶 We spend weeks getting to know their temperaments and want to help create the best possible match for both puppy and family. We prioritize: ✨ Loving indoor homes ✨ Safe and stable environments ✨ Families prepared for the financial and emotional commitment of a tiny companion breed ✨ Homes where the puppy will not be left alone constantly or crated for long hours ✨ Families with enough time, attention, and companionship to properly care for a small breed puppy These babies are raised as family and deserve homes where they’ll be loved, spoiled, and emotionally cared for 💕”
