I'm Julie H., the breeder behind Driftless Vizslas located in Richland Center, WI. We always wanted to have our own purebred vizsla to love and enjoy. A few years ago whent the stars alligned we were able to adopt Penny! We also moved out in the country making breeding dogs much more feasible. We are loving every minute of raising Vizsla puppies. Nothing is more rewarding than sending home a puppy with a happy new owner!

Getting a puppy from Julie

About Penny
Penny has been a wonderful family dog. She is sweet and patient with kids and is eager to please. While indoors she has a beautiful, calm demeanor. Outside she presents a real drive and enthusiasm in the field while on the hunt. She comes from a line of several award winning Vizslas in field trials. She has OFA hips and standard health clearances. AKC registered.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
