DryCreek Vizslas

Nancy C.

Breeder of Vizslas

Meet the breeder

I'm Nancy C., the breeder behind DryCreek Vizslas located in Sebastopol, CA. We have been selectively breeding quality Vizslas for almost 20 years. Our goal is to produce beautiful and healthy Vizslas for conformation, field, and companionship. Each of our DryCreek Vizslas holds a special place in our hearts. Some have excelled in AKC conformation shows, others in AKC and American Field field events, and some have succeeded in both. Family members are also highly titled in Agility and Obedience.

Q. & A. with Nancy

  • Why did you start breeding?

Sava was our first Vizsla and our foundation sire. He was purchased to be my husband's hunting companion. We placed a conformation CH on him at 9 months old and then Junior, Senior, and Master hunt titles. The competitive field became our passion. We now have 2 Dual (show and field) Champions (2 more competing currently), 3 Master Hunters, 2 dogs in the VCA Registry of Merrit, and 2 top producers.
  • What makes your program special?

The research and focus we put into our breeding program have resulted in proven success. Every stud dog selected has been thoughtfully researched. We have personally observed the dog's field performance and evaluated him for soundness. We produce high-class bird dogs for companion hunting, field competition and conformation showing. But most of all we produce loyal friends and family members.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
