I'm Heather J., the breeder behind Dutch Ridge Kennels WPG’s located in Oswego, NY. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. Our program is focused on producing puppies that are healthy, well-structured, and have outstanding temperaments. We have high expectations for our puppies and strive to place each one in an enriching and loving home!

Why did you start breeding?
My husband and I researched the WPG breed for about 2 years before we got our first Griff Alexa Mae. We were smitten and just fell in love with this particular breed. My husband hunts our WPG’s and they are superb bird dogs and swimmers. They are such wonderful family pets and love our grandchildren as they have a great temperament and we’re easy to train. It was about a year later that I decided I wanted to get into breeding so that other families could experience the joy they bring. It was a long process of learning everything about breeding and I had a wonderful mentor to teach me how to be the best breeder I could be. Alexa Mae is now retired but she gave us four beautiful litters over the course of 5 yrs and I love that our families stay in contact with us. Stella our 3rd female will carry on our legacy of beautiful litters.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are brown and gray. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Price
"Our price includes, well puppy visit, first set of vaccines, tails docked, dew claws removed, worming and AKC registration. Puppy deposits are due immediately after whelping has occurred to hold your spot and remaining balance due by puppy pick up day."
