I'm Gregory C., the breeder behind Ear Mountain Griffons located in Show Low, AZ. Litter of Nine currently in place and ready for homes the weekend of December `14, 2024. Males and females still available, We breed athletic dogs with fantastic temperaments that will make stellar family pets and companions in the field. Our dogs are outstanding hunting companions, and we are proud to continue their line. We breed both to provide families with loving and capable companions and to improve upon our dogs' fantastic traits with each generation. My number One consideration is to provide great family companions. Secondly, to ensure the likelihood of healthy, long lives. Third, to hone in on the unique intuitive connection between people and the Griffs, which makes them easy to train, easy to hunt and easy to engage as part of the family.
Q. & A. with Gregory
Why did you start breeding?
I had a great first dog from whom many wanted a pup.
What makes your program special?
Generations of careful selection, relentless pursuit of healthy, happy, adaptable, smart and social family dogs. My dogs have the most consistent grey and silver harsh coats in North America and perhaps the fewest dysplasia events of any hunting Kennel (less than 1/2 of One Percent)
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are brown and gray. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Matched dogs
These dogs are already reserved or have gone home.

Bailey, mom
Wirehaired Pointing Griffon
About Bailey
Bailey is also one of our carefully selected family and kennel Griffs. She is kind, deferential, never needy, smart, easy to care for and, like all my Griffs, will self-select the amount of feed she eats, never bloating or binge eating as some other breeds do. She has a fabulous liver head and an all gray body, harsh, 3" long and almost perfectly clean of burrs and the like, no matter where she plays.
Kaiser, dad
Wirehaired Pointing Griffon
About Kaiser
Kaiser is my fourth generation of Sire Griffons. A Gentleman in the home, intuitive, smart, easy to train, and at the same time, adventuresome and active in the field. That makes him a perfect prototype for a male Griffon: great companion, easy and behaved in the house, and playfully active outside. His coat is silver grey, medium length, almost shedless, and harsh, quick drying and easy to care for. He is incredibly expressive, and has uniformly passed his lovely temperament onto every litter he has sired. Really, after whelping nearly 500 Griffon puppies over twenty years, I don't think I can improve upon the likes of Kaiser.
