I'm Robin E., the breeder behind Easter Acres located in Clarksville, TN. We breed AKC Registerd Great Pyrenees Livestock Guardians and AKC registerd Leonbergers. We raise all of our Pyrenees puppies as LGDs, however some are better suited as pets. Our Great Pyrnees are raised with our Fainting Goat herd, cats, other dogs, and poultry. We have three generations of this line of working Pyrenees on our farm. This includes their grandmother, mom and older siblings. We keep in mind a variety of factors when breeding, including drive, energy, temperament, and structure. Our goal is to produce balanced dogs that will be able to thrive wherever they are needed. We have been breeding Great Pyrenees Livestock Gurdians for 10 years. We have Great Pyrenees in both farm and family settings all across the US to include Alaska. References can be provided upon request. We offer both puppies and older livestock guardians to farms/families. Make sure to do research on this breed, and how it might integrate into your farm/family.
Leonbergers are extraordinary and a great addition to any family. Unlike many breeds Lonbergers crave to be with their human as much as possible. They have the innate ability to tune into our emotions on a unique level. They are excellent in therapy work, water rescue and any task when given a specific job to do. Leonbergers do not do well in situations where they will be left alone for a great deal of time or kenneled for extended periods of time.
Please note that Lonbergers are a working breed and not a livestock guardian and should not be considered of as such. They are not suited for guardian work.
Q. & A. with Robin
Why did you start breeding?
My brother had a Great Pyrenees on his farm many years ago that I fell in love with. When our family eventually settled down in Tennessee after 24 years of military service, we never considered any other breed to protect our herd, flock, family and farm.
Our Lonbergers are a dream come true. We added our first Leonberger to our family in 2018. We no longer remember life before them. They complete our family. We cannot describe in words the love and joy they bring to our lives on a daily basis. They are extraordinary creatures.
What makes your program special?
We pride ourselves in our dogs temperaments and working abilities. We offer lifelong support to you and your puppy in both farm and family settings.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We originally was looking for a little girl Pyrenees. We had issues with strange animals and dogs coming onto the property and attacking my little boys. I did a lot of research into gentle dogs that would protect our family well, and came across Easter Acres thinking one of their girls is what I wanted. Come to find out all they had left was a heafty tank of a boy puppy. It just felt right, so I happily took him. We named our boy Thor and have loved him from day one 💙. He so naturally integrated into our family and has become the definition of a gentle giant. He loves his naps alongside my little boys, and fiercely protects them from anything that seems to find itself on our 2 acre property. He's very calm and well mannered. He has wonderful recal and hasn't had much issues with house training either.
