I'm Julie F., the breeder behind Edonja German Shorthaired Pointers located in Dansville, MI. We raise our dogs with love in our home. We strive to pair each pup with a loving family and prefer for them to go to a hunting home so they can experience what they were born to do. We decided to start a small, in-home breeding program in order to produce quality hunting dogs that are their family's best friend. We focus on breeding dogs that have the drive to run all day in the field, but also have amazing temperaments and can quickly adapt to a calm family setting.

Why did you start breeding?
Blake is the sire of our first litter. He is 12 years old now and we just wanted to carry on his line before he was gone. Blake was quite the specimen in his day. He was so beautiful that Eukanuba chose to use him in one of their commercials. We will miss him when he is gone....What makes your program special?
Exceptional quality hunting dogs by day, and snuggling lap dogs at home. These dogs are simply amazing in every sense of the word. We hope to contribute to the quality of the breed by producing a few litters of exceptional dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $1,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.
