Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

+8It was wonderful working with Tracey at Elysium Fields! Our chihuahua puppy has a remarkable personality. After being home with us for two months, he has proven to be well socialized, fun-loving, affectionate, healthy, and adaptable. He is eager to please and came home already mostly trained on puppy pads. Tracey is knowledgeable and fast to respond to questions. She provided photos and videos of our puppy in the weeks before we brought him home. Tracey made sure the transition to home went smoothly; she sent a starter kit with puppy food, treats, toys, familiar-scented blanket to ease his anxiety. She is committed to breading healthy, well-adapted puppies. We recommend Elysium Fields to anyone looking for a chihuahua puppy and we look forward to working with Tracey again in the future.
