I'm Ann Marie P., the breeder behind Emerald Isle Glens located in Island County, WA. I’m a small-scale breeder of adorable, affectionate Glen of Imaal Terrier puppies. My priorities when breeding are good health, good temperament, and adherence to the breed standard. I begin puppy socialization while my pups are with me, and I am careful to provide a healthy environment in which they can thrive. I love what I do and strive to produce the best puppies for my buyers.
Q. & A. with Ann Marie
Why did you start breeding?
I had my own amazing Glen of Imaal Terrier and fell in love with the breed. I wanted to do my part as a responsible breeder and produce healthy, well-rounded pups. It has been an incredible experience, and I love what I do!
What makes your program special?
I hold myself to the highest standard when it comes to my puppies and my policies. I am thorough in health testing and caring for my dogs, and I make sure each puppy gets the proper group and individual care that it needs to thrive. My goal is to ensure that every dog that comes from my program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves my care.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
