I'm Elaine E., the breeder behind Fanciful Thrills Kennel located in Michigan. We are proud to offer our high-quality puppies to loving homes. When we bring a life into the world, we take that responsibility seriously, any pup or dog from our program is a part of our pack for life, and we will always have a home for them here if they need it.

Why did you start breeding?
It all started with a chorkie we had many years ago. We then found a chihuahua and a yorkie and we fell in love with both the purebreeds. We eventually focused on our primary love for chihuahuas. We are obsessed with large round eyes. Beautiful muzzles and her variety of color and coat type this breed has. No two chihuahuas appear the same in our opinion.What makes your program special?
I DNA test with Embark. I am in the process of OFA certification everyone. Some are already certified for patellas and cardiovascular. I truly love every detail of what we do. We have imported lines from Europe with excellent pedigrees, short muzzles. We have been working hard to produce excellent temperaments as well and raise our puppies in an excellent environment along side their parents.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Yorkshire Terrier puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
