Why did you start breeding?
I am a preservationist breeder striving to maintain and improve upon the unique qualities that the Portuguese Water Dog has to offer. My focus is on all of this while also placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior health, structure, and standard. PWDs have proven to be wonderful companions in my life, and it is a privilege to share that love and friendship with others.
What makes your program special?
I truly love the Portuguese Water Dog breed and am dedicated to looking out for them as a whole. I know the health and status of every dog I have bred, and I'm proud of the temperament and health of my puppies. Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes the first round of vaccinations, deworming, microchip, guarantee per contract,. I require a $500 non-refundable waitlist fee. This fee is applied to the purchase if we agree on a puppy for you.”

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Chondrodystrophy (CDDY and IVDD Risk) with or without Chondrodysplasia (CDPA), Microphthalmia Syndrome (PES), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Juvenile Dilated Cardiomyopathy, GM1 Gangliosidosis, Portuguese Water Dog Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
