Meet the breeder

I'm Kiara S., the breeder behind Four Seasons Akita (Shikisou) located in Slippery Rock, PA. All puppies come with microchip, current vaccinations, vet check, 1 month of FREE health insurance, lifetime breeder support and a Training/Grooming Puppy Pack.

Q. & A. with Kiara

  • Why did you start breeding?

In 2014, I found Kiba almost by accident. His parents were directly from Japan. I have always been an animal lover and after finding so many mixes of the JA and the AA in the US, I began looking into learning about breeding and preserving the breed standard.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs and puppies are raised and loved by our family. All of our Japanese Akitas socialized at a young age with other dogs, people, and small children to be sound companions.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include white, red, and brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
