I'm Shane & Liz M., the breeder behind Freedom Boerboels LLC located in Naples, NY. Our focus is on maintaining the integrity of the old world Boerboel while producing a well-rounded, healthy working dog. Each dog in our program is handpicked and goes through extensive training, socialization, and health testing. All our dogs are raised in our home providing a stable and confident Boerboel. Puppies will come registered with SABBS and both parents have been health tested, have had Penn Hip, and OFA elbows done. We look forward to connecting with you!

Why did you start breeding?
It is important to me that I not only preserve my own phenomenal bloodlines, but that I am improving this breed with each litter and ensuring the well-being of these dogs for generations more to come! My goal is to produce a well-rounded Boerboel that has the ability to excel in any venue with their new family.What makes your program special?
I really value the connections I form with my buyers and love to continue to watch my puppies grow up through their eyes. I take great care planning each litter to ensure I am producing puppies that are excellent representations of the standard. I am very conscious with who I rehome my puppies to and ensure each one goes to a home complimentary to their personality and ability. I know that all of my puppies will become treasured family members!Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
