Lola has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lola partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“Puppies are sent to certain homes based on distinct qualities.”

“Puppies go home with food, AKC registration, vet records, toys, blanket with moms' scent, microchip, and an introduction to quail at 6 weeks. Raised around children, cats, large and small dogs, and chickens. All puppies are same price, deposits are non-refundable unless a health issue arises, or subject to breeders discretion.”
Lola may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Lola offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don’t hesitate to reach out to Lola directly.

German Shorthaired Pointer
About Montana
Montana is the most laid back GSP I've ever met, her personality is nothing short of amazing. In the house she's extremely well mannered and calm, her off switch is the best I've seen. When working the field her nose is outstanding. We hunt quail and pheasant with her. She also has done flyball and excelled in that as well. She's amazing with children, people, large and small dogs, cats, chickens and other animals. This dog is truly one of a kind, her build is on the smaller side, and she weighs between 47-50 pounds. She's a remarkable female and a joy to be around in the home and field.

German Shorthaired Pointer
About Doc
Doc is a very well-mannered and eager to please in the field and home. He hunts upland bird such as quail, pheasant, chukar and we also use him for waterfowl. He is outstanding in the field and water and is a joy to hunt over. In our home he has an off switch and is the gentlest dog. He's great around children, large and small dogs, cats and other animals. He is starting to work toward a AKC JH title, but not there yet. Overall, I've been very pleased with this dog in every aspect of life.

Great level
Freemans' GSP's reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for German Shorthaired Pointers.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Cone Degeneration, German Shorthaired Pointer Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
