Q. & A. with Kristin
Why did you start breeding?
My family had bred and shown Alaskan Malamutes for many years and I was introduced to showing at a young age. Having shown many of our Malamutes to their AKC Championship and Specialty wins, I wanted a smaller house dog and decided that it was finally time to have an adorable Schipperke in June of 2000. They have completely captured my heart since. My goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies, but to help promote responsible breeding to ensure that the Schipperke will continue to move forward for generations to come.
What makes your program special?
For anyone who has ever owned a Schipperke before, I do not need to tell you about this wonderfully captivating little breed. I do everything I can to ensure the puppies have everything they need to develop into healthy and happy dogs. In my breeding program, good health and temperament are essential, cuteness is guaranteed, and lots of love is always included. Not a single day goes by that one of my Schipperkes has not made me laugh!! They truly are a great little breed! I utilize a variety of pedigrees/lines including imported dogs to help strengthen the health and longevity of this breed that I love!
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
