I'm Nancy M., the breeder behind Gift of Gods Favor located in Alvord, TX. raising healthy, happy puppies that bring joy to both the show ring and the heart of the home. Q. & A. with Nancy

  • Why did you start breeding?

My journey into breeding started thanks to a dear family friend who shared her love of showing Japanese Chins. Watching her dedication and the special bond she had with her dogs inspired me to follow in her footsteps.
  • What makes your program special?

What makes my program special is the heart I put into every part of it. I don’t just breed dogs—I raise cherished family members with love, intention, and respect for their breed. Each puppy is handled daily, nurtured in a home environment, and given the best start possible before heading to their forever families.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Chihuahua puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Shih Tzu puppies include black and tan and liver and white. Chihuahua puppies include merle, fawn, black sabled fawn, fawn and white, black and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Nancy is a wonderful person to work with. She is forthright in her answers to any of your questions. Nancy went to great lengths to find last-minute transport to my house. I had a surgery present at the last minute, and they made it possible for me to meet a beautiful “Viper,” AKA Luna. She is a spunky, loving, and blessed addition to our pack.
