Q. & A. with Noelene
Why did you start breeding?
Lagotto Romagnolo, which is an Italian water dog, were considered a rare breed and I wanted to bring the breed into the public eye. There are AKC judges who still haven't judged any! Originally bred to hunt waterfowl, they have incredible noses and are known for their ability to hunt truffles. They are very loving, intelligent and trainable and make wonderful companions.
What makes your program special?
I proudly show my dogs and look forward to providing healthy, happy puppies that have the best start possible. I fully health test dogs that I intend to breed and strive to put titles on my dogs before breeding them. The puppies are raised in my home with lots of love and attention. I use the Puppy Culture method and temperament test to try to place puppies in the home best suited for them.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
