About Dwight
Dwight is the epitome of a ladies man! He’s gorgeous and regal, but loves to snuggle and get all the affection he can. He is a wonderful companion to our family as well as a working farm dog. Dwight comes from incredible genetics through his sire, Wallace, and has the capabilities to boot. He herds cows, gathers and holds sheep, catches chickens, hunts vermin, and patrols the land and sky. If there is a hawk, it doesn’t stand a chance to get our chickens, as Dwight is quick to spot them and chase them off the farm. Dwight is clear by parentage for both MDR1 and CEA.

About Lassie
Lassie. Bonnie Lass. Lassie Lou. So many names for such a wee girl. Lassie is a ball of beautiful sunshine. Everywhere her golden mane and tail go, it brings smiles to everyone. She is such a beautiful and wonderful girl. She is smart, capable, and biddable, but still has the grit to get a job done. Lassie herds cows, hunts vermin like a champ, sky patrols, and does all the things a working farm dog should do, while still being the biggest cuddle bug on the farm. Lassie’s most unique characteristic - she is such a peanut! Lassie is only 35 lbs (which is small for a collie), but don’t let her size fool you. She can herd the largest cow without issue and then snuggle up in your lap afterwards. She is such a joy to own, and I hope I can pass that along to others by breeding her. Lassie is a CEA carrier and MDR1 clear.

About Katya
Katya is an excellent and attentive guardian to the sheep on our working farm. She guards the sheep within electronetting fence, but does jump the fence to defend her territory if required. She is not a wanderer, and freely jumps in and out of the fold at will, making sure her sheep are always safe and guarded. She does do some perimeter checking as well and is keen to stay within boundaries. Katya is also a very social LGD with our family and frequent visitors to our family farm. She can be somewhat aloof to new people, but that is good for her job description. She is a very sweet and submissive girl and loves our children dearly as well. Katya is Pennhipped and scored a 0.40, which is a mild risk for hip dysplasia, which makes her a great breeding candidate for the Karakachan breed. Her sire is a direct import from Bulgaria, which is from unique genetic lines within the breed, and her dam is descended from some of the best lines for great hips in the domestic Karakachan lines. She has a lot to offer the breed, including her exquisite and unique coloring.

About Buck
Buck is an excellent guardian on our working farm. Buck mostly has experience guarding his family of humans, but he also guards sheep, and his most favorite thing to guard - babies! It doesn’t matter what species of babies, Buck finds the babies on the farm and is a diligent guard. During our last lambing season, Buck blossomed as a livestock guardian and assisted with lamb delivery, post partum cleanup, and was diligent guardian to the lambs after birth. He even guarded a lamb that had been rejected by a ewe and mothered him until he alerted me to the issue. Buck is a linebred pup out of Tri Quest that was specifically bred for tight hips in domestic lines. His Pennhip results are pending until the end of March.
