We keep a variety of factors in mind when choosing dogs to breed, including health, temperament, pedigree, and complementary traits, so that puppies can inherit the best of both parents.

We fell in love with our beautiful Portuguese Water Dogs and felt like the world could use more of their type of love!What makes your program special?
We focus on our puppies! They are raised on the Badass Breeder curriculum, including health tested parents, ENS, ESI, daily handling and temperament testing.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, white, and brown. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

About Pepper
Pepper is a beautiful Silver Fox Portuguese Water Dog, meaning she was born white and developed the "pepper" coloring as she grew. She has passed all of the DNA and health testing required by the PWDCA. Pepper is spicy and sweet, she loves to be active; hiking, running and playing with her friends. This is her second litter and produced some very nice puppies for us!

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

I had a great experience - and the puppy I received is amazing! She is so cute and friendly and has quickly picked up on the training - even shakes my hand already. The puppy is good with cats and kids - I couldn't have asked for a better dog. Everyone asks us what kind of dog is she - and when I tell them a Portuguese Water Dog, they are even more intrigued. I would recommend the breed and the breeder to anyone looking for family dog. Looking forward to trying her out in some performance trials.
