I'm Lisa H., the breeder behind H LAVA C Pointers located in Shenandoah, IA. My pups are literally raised in my home, and are a part of my everyday life. They come w/ big motors, deep gas tanks and giant hearts like their parents. In the house time includes lots of love & manners. My goal is to give each one of them the most solid mental and physical foundation possible.

Getting a puppy from Lisa
Lisa has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Lisa partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Puppies will come with their AKC registration papers, dew claws and tail docked (by vet), first 2 rounds of vaccinations including Lepto (by vet), dewormed every 2 weeks, current NexGuard for flea and tick prevention, vet health papers, health guarantee contract, microchipped with lifetime prepaid AKC reuinte, and all of the documentation I have kept on them since their first breath; including frequent weigh in's, weekly nail trimmings, several baths etc. They will also go to their new forever home with a gallon of their current food (purina pro-plan chicken n rice puppy large breed to make for long lasting joints and bones), parent's Embark DNA paperwork one of the litter's toys and blanket to comfort them in transition.”

About Elle
Elle is my best friend and shares most every part of my daily life with me. This girl is personality PLUS! She loves to romp through the fields, through the mud and the heated seats in the car. Her prey drive is epic and her quit button doesn't exist. Physically she is in tip top shape and can clear a 6 foot fence with ease at 6 years old. (not that I ask this if her) Her embark DNA test shows she is medically clear, and her COI is a very impressive 12%! Elle is also a great mama to her babies, and teaches them many lessons as they grow. She loves to travel and also the attention she draws everywhere we go. On the leash and in the house she is very laid back and enjoys her couch time and deer shed chews.

Jet is the beauty and the beast combined! His sleek black coat and solid muscular physique draw eyes everywhere he goes. He is the type you have to make take brakes..because he has zero quit. He is Embark DNA cleared, EXCELLENT 8% COI, and is 100 % sound at 6 years old. I have had the pleasure of him since he was 7 weeks old. He is my personal companion and loves to do anything on the agenda. His manners are excellent in the house..and he loves to be pampered!
