I'm Jacobi H., the breeder behind Harris Enterprise & Kennels LLC located in Bluefield, VA. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. We fell in love with the breed because of their intelligence and personality. There’s hardly a better feeling than being able to share them with other families that will love them the way that we do!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding at a young age because of our own pack of hunting dogs we keep around the house - trying to perfect the breed, temperaments, drive, 'switch' and companions. While doing so, being able to provide that luxury to other families and individuals. I would like to share that passion and gift.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes our breeding program special is that dogs are only bred when we are looking to keep a pup ourself. We don't have litters every year so it is selective. If a dog does not fit our criteria for any reason it will not get bred.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are liver roan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Jacobi

Jacobi has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Jacobi partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and between $1,150 - $1,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Contract & health guarantee

Jacobi may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Could not be happier with the whole process. Jacobi was super responsive to any and all question.     Not only was Jacobi constantly in touch with me from day one, but we would usually talk on the phone once or twice a week, FaceTime, and text several times throughout the week. My son and I wanted to add a GSP to our family, and Jacobi was genuinely interested in not just making that happen, but making sure we were paired with the right dog for our family.     Jacobi was very responsive, we were a bit concerned because let’s face it everyone has heard the horror stories about being scammed by an out of state breeder but Jacobi was constantly in touch regarding our girl Stella and her paperwork and things. We are in Maine so we used a pet transport service and Jacobi was also in touch with them. Overall our experience was fantastic!! Oh and Stella is brilliant!!! She is smart and funny and serious about her jobs! She is all around a great dog!

    Jacobi was very responsive and communicated throughout the entire breeding and delivery process. It’s clear that he cares deeply for all of his animals and genuinely wants them all to thrive.     Jacobi is a lovely breeder and is very cautious of the health of the dogs and puppies he has. He had great communication and always was available to answer questions and help whenever I needed it. He had clear answers to all my questions and even took time from his day to have a phone call meeting with me. Upon taking my puppy to the vet they said he was in great shape and was very healthy. Jacobi does a wonderful job of keeping the puppies living conditions sanitary and safe. Couldn’t have asked to work with a better breeder with the most well kept pups!
