I'm SHEILA C., the breeder behind Heartland Iggys located in Newalla, OK. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others. We are small backyard breeders.

Why did you start breeding?
We had some friends that were breeders that approach us and thought we would be great breeders. They taught us all about breeding. We have been following their instructions with great success for the last 5 years. Italian Greyhounds are beautiful dogs to be around all of the time.What makes your program special?
We are a small backyard breeder. We love and care for our puppies as our own pets. We work hard to ensure each puppy is well cared for, healthy, and social. We treat each puppy as our only forever pet; so that they are ready to be loved by you.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include fawn, blue fawn, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Price
"Price includes a healthy puppy, AKC registration, microchip, and blanket. $500 deposit is non-refundable and goes toward the final price. All of our puppies are the same price. The deposit is part of the total price of the puppy. The deposit secures a specific puppy for you."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. He has received his first round of vaccines and received a good bill of health from our vet. We would be happy to do a video call if you want to see him in action. Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
