Darrell has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $300 - $600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes worming, first shot and microchip. All puppies are the same price regardless of color or sex. Deposits are non refundable unless puppy is not able to be sold (death) deposits are not accepted till puppies are 2 weeks old.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. It was a pleasure working with Darrell and his wife Jamie. I had recently lost my BMC and began searching for a puppy. I found Darrell through Good Dog, and saw a picture of a puppy that I fell in love with. Darrell and Jamie were very responsive to all my questions and concerns, and even helped in making travel arrangements to pick up the puppy. She has now been with us for 3 weeks, and is such a big part of the family. Whether it be riding on a pontoon boat or on a golf cart with the grandkids, she’s in for whatever we’re up to. She has a wonderful disposition, and has become such a big part of the family. I can’t thank Darrell and Jamie enough for giving us the opportunity to own one of their beautiful dogs.

Darrell and his Wife were great! Communication was excellent, complete with weekly updates and pictures. We definitely felt like part of him growing. Pick up went smoothly and he came with his paperwork well organized and answered all our questions. Our pup came bathed and ready to play and is very well rounded and happy to see people and is playing very well with the kids and adjusting to his feline counter parts well.. and already knows how to Herd and practicing his skills at sniffing out rabbits.. couldn’t be happier with our experience, our pup, and breeder.. thank you Darrell and Jamie.. see you in a few years for our next one ;)

I had never bought a puppy I couldn’t see before it was time to pick them up. Heritage Cow Dogs was easy to work with and made my experience pleasant. They assured me that I could FaceTime with them every week to be able to see the puppy’s personality. Darrell and his wife were a joy to work with. They clearly know the dogs very well and take good care of them. Communication was good throughout the process, they sent periodic photos while we waited and were happy to answer all of our questions. Pickup day was easy and stress free the paperwork was all in order and we couldn't be more pleased. The dogs are healthy, well-adjusted and remarkably people friendly.
