    I am dedicated to continuing my phenomenal, award-winning bloodlines in an effort to provide other Vizsla families with loving, healthy, and happy puppies. It is so fulfilling to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others.

    We have a passion for excellence and healthy family pets that also have the ability to excel in the show ring! High Ridge Vizslas is committed to only breeding dogs that meet the strict guidelines for quality that we have deemed appropriate to improving this wonderful breed. We're very conscious about who we rehome our puppies to and always ensure that each one goes to the best home possible complementary to its personality and ability.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
