Horizon Lagotti Romagnoli

Laurin H.

Breeder of Lagotti Romagnoli

Meet the breeder

I'm Laurin H., the breeder behind Horizon Lagotti Romagnoli located in Berea, KY. We are Laurin Howard and Bryon Miracle of Horizon Lagotti. Our priorities are outstanding temperament and health (all dogs fully health tested and CHIC certified), and we heavily socialize our litters so they can excel as both family companions and/or performance/show dogs. Breed type and excellent movement are of critical importance to us: our dogs have won winners dog, winners bitch, best puppy, and select at National Specialties. We offer health/temperament guarantees for genetic conditions and 24/7 support for the life of the dog.

Q. & A. with Laurin

  • Why did you start breeding?

I was a professional show dog handler. I began breeding springer spaniels in 1984, producing well over 100 champions and hundreds of wonderful companions. I showed several Lagotti and fell in love. After I visited Italy, Bryon and I acquired our own. We had so much fun with their very successful show careers. After getting their health clearances, we had our first litters.
  • What makes your program special?

We were very fortunate to acquire two very special bitches. They proved their quality in the ring with big wins at the National Specialty, they have all health clearances and are CHIC certified, and they have wonderful temperaments. Their puppies are following in their footsteps in the ring, but most importantly they are healthy, outgoing, beloved companions.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
