I'm Tim H., the breeder behind Howell Farm GSP located in Hardeman County, TN. We are a small, cherished family run farm located in West Tennessee . We are passionate about our dogs and about agriculture. We proudly raise quality AKC German shorthair pointers, no other dog breeds. We raise and train our dogs as a hobby that we find is a rewarding way to enjoy our dogs. We strive to achieve those qualities that make a good companion starting with good health, temperament, and a nurturing environment. Our adult dogs are used for hunting , tracking , therapy & most of all family companions. Although they aren’t known for being typical farm dogs, our dogs enjoy the farm life, running , swimming & having many fenced acres to explore. Each puppy is socialized with our family from birth and are well loved from the moment they arrive. Our dogs are bred for conformation, health, and temperament. We keep all of our puppies a minimum of 8 weeks and maybe longer if we see fit to ensure each puppy gets the best care before going to their new forever homes. We take great pride in raising each and every one of our puppies to be great companions in their next homes. AKC proudly supports dedicated and responsible breeders. Make sure you are you are choosing the best breed for you GSPs are such a versatile and family-friendly breed. From hunters to sportsmen, pet owners, and event competitors, They are also popular as service dogs and therapy dogs with proper training . GSPs are a loving breed that make excellent furry family members, are wonderful with children, adults, and animals alike, and offer years of unconditional love and support to the right owner and caretaker. They do need proper obedience training , exercise & lots of love . We gladly provide references upon request so you can talk to those who own GSPs from our line .

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver roan and black roan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
