I'm Erica C., the breeder behind Ilvolare Spinone located in Kent County, DE. I am a retired professional handler having fun with her Spinoni as an AKC Judge and breeder. I've been breeding for 23 years. I am truly blessed to be able to do the things I love. I am passionate about my work and look forward to connecting with you!
Q. & A. with Erica
Why did you start breeding?
Responsible breeders play an important role in the future of the dog ecosystem. We are guardians for the future Spinone Italianos. I strive to not only produce beautiful puppies and continue my show line but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that this breed will continue to thrive for generations to come.
What makes your program special?
I am preservation breeder of Spinone Italiano and am so excited to share my love of them with the world. My heavy involvement in the show world speaks to the standards that I breed my dogs by. My program strives to maintain the unique characteristics of the breed while placing an emphasis on producing puppies of superior health, structure, temperament, and pedigree. In addition, I love spoiling and pampering my dogs, and hope that my puppies' new homes will love and cherish them just as much as I do!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and orange, white, orange roan, and brown roan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
