I'm Kelsea, the breeder behind Impressive Bred Bullies located in Wooster, OH. I am a smaller kennel in rural Ohio. I have been showing American Bullies for 5 years and breeding for 3 years.
Due to life circumstances I have decided to take a break from breeding. No litters for 1-2 yrs..
I will still be offering dog training, show training & attend some local shows.
Q. & A. with Kelsea
Why did you start breeding?
I started as a groomer and my manager had American Bullies. I fell in love with the breed and have been slowly creating my kennel since.
I am highly involved in the show world in ABKC, UKC and International shows and with the registry itself.
What makes your program special?
I focus on education to the public. It's a "newer" breed and a breed that many people think is a pit bull.
Many of the new people come in thinking they can make money and have no idea about dogs. Impressive Bred Bullies' main goal is to create dogs to the breed standard and better, with the ultimate temperament and health.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
