Q. & A. with Colleen

  • Why did you start breeding?

We began our research for champion Chi’s through Facebook and tip breeder referrals. We got our first baby and fell in love, then came more…that’s how it works when you fall in love. We decided that we wanted to breed after careful study of our babies and tests performed. These are also show dogs, but due to our schedule we cannot do both, so we stick to breeding our loves.
  • What makes your program special?

Our specialty is each pup is 100 percent-certified and tested. The highest quality you can obtain when breeding chihuahuas. Each one is beautiful and elegantly cream. I/Colleen personally handle each pup before during and after delivery. I also hand deliver to new owner specifically. We make personal connections with every owner as we want our pups going to a fantastic home.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are cream and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Colleen was so wonderful through the whole process! It was our first time getting a puppy through a breeder, and she helped us every step of the way. We were able to name our puppy before she got home, and even had several facetimes with Colleen and our new puppy :) Colleen set us up with all the knowledge we needed to raise this little cutie successfully. Colleen delivered our puppy and it was such a joy to meet her in person and meet our little Dolce. We will always be family since we got to watch our little puppy grow together. We are so thankful!
